Hello BARW,

It seems with the dawn of each day comes a new “crisis”. We are whipsawed back and forth from guns to trans rights to climate change to fiscal cliffs to eliminating fossil fuels to a wide-open border, fentanyl, crime, and now Chinese Spy Balloons! And with each of these “crises,” whether real or imagined I feel our leaders are lying to us and sadly not up to the job. Why lie when the truth and a proposed solution or a mea culpa will work. The amount of subterfuge in all areas of the government is very concerning. Our security agencies are looking inward for threats instead of outward where our real adversaries are.

We are the United States of America, I used to believe we could do anything we put our mind to, we could rise to meet any challenge. Now our so-called leaders can’t even identify the challenge much less ask us to meet it.

These are critical times and sadly they are pointing out that the quality of our elected officials is just not there. Instead of looking towards the next election they should be looking towards solving today’s problems. Pronouns and climate change should seem way less important when our sovereignty and security are at risk.

Get involved, stay involved and tell your representatives focus on what’s important! The big stuff! We can handle the small stuff.
