President’s Voice – March 2023
Hello BARW,
Oh, to have a President’s message be about all the positive things going on in our nation. Wouldn’t that be a blessing? Alas, this is not the month for that to happen! We can’t even celebrate international Women’s Day. The left has made a mockery out of that too, but I digress. Instead, it is about what are the biggest failures of our leaders exposed in the last few weeks. And they are failing us. They are allowing our freedoms to slip away without a fight.
The two BIG stories of the last few weeks are the hearing on the BigTech / Government censorship that went on during the Covid Crisis and the 2020 election and the release of the January 6 videos from inside the Capitol.
Listening to the congressional testimony of journalists Michael Schellenberger and Matt Tiabbi regarding the Twitter files that were released by Elon Musk is truly astonishing and the reaction to it is frightening. It is clear that the government orchestrated the censorship getting the companies to do what they are prohibited from doing. Think how many times “the government” said, “they’re private businesses taking down posts not the government” Lies! Thank goodness for Jim Jordon and the Republican majority in the House, but this shouldn’t be a Right/Left issue. Everyone should be outraged, and the Dems clearly are not. If you didn’t see the testimony look it up.
Then we get the release of the complete January 6 videos! People are in jail because this exculpatory evidence was withheld. Why? Because it disproved the narrative? Why is it important that Jan. 6th be viewed as an insurrection and not just a mostly peaceful protest. It is disgusting and the fact that Republicans also decried the release is frightening as well. Bad things happened but it was not an insurrection. Since when is more information bad. In both cases more information and debate would have served us well. Thank you, Kevin McCarthy and Tucker Carlson. If you didn’t see Tucker, listen to Michael Berry’s March 7 & 8th podcasts. He covers it well.
We need fighters in Washington! Again, not a Left/Right issue, a Constitutional issue. If they can ignore the constitution on these issues, they can ignore it on other issues.
Remember, Venezuela had a constitution too.
Keep your eye on the ball. Don’t hesitate to email or call representatives to give your opinion. They work for us.
See you on the 28th!
Debbie Roan
