President’s Voice – March 2026
As the primary season approaches its conclusion, I extend congratulations to those candidates who won their primaries and offer best wishes to those advancing to runoffs.
Many members devoted considerable time and effort on behalf of their preferred candidates, and while some may feel disappointed by the outcomes, others are energized and continue their involvement. Regrettably, certain races became contentious, with candidates engaging in negative campaigning. It is important to remember that, as Republicans, we share common principles and values. Unity and mutual support are essential, in order to avoid providing leverage to Democratic opponents.
Republican voter turnout during the primaries was below expectations. This is very disappointing. We must not become complacent and allow Texas to shift away from its current political alignment. Continued diligence and engagement is required to ensure the Senate seat remains in Republican hands and to reclaim key Harris County elected positions.
