We Have a Fight on our Hands – September
Remember how we Republicans felt after the 2008 election, and how we worked hard and took back the House in 2010? Believe me, the Democrats have the same motivation and goals for 2018. Money is pouring into Texas from the East and West Coasts. They have opposition candidates in every race. They portray themselves as charismatic, young, cool (but moderate?), social justice warriors. Throw in the acts of hate and violence against Republicans nationwide, and we have a real fight on our hands.
What do we do? Be brave and happy warriors! Keep spreading the positive message about the Republican Party and our candidates. Here are just a few of my favorite Harris County candidates you can talk about!
- Commissioner Jack Morman is doing a great job in Precinct 2 building much needed bridges and roads and making Precinct 2 parks wonderful facilities for our families to enjoy. It says something when your Democratic staff is campaigning to keep you!
- County Clerk Stan Stanart used his electrical engineering background to innovate in the election
process by introducing the E-Poll Book to make it easier for election clerks to do their jobs and
keep accurate, secure records countywide during elections.
- Judge Katherine Cabaniss is a presiding judge of the STAR Drug Court Program. The Drug Court helps to transform defendants/participants from repeat drug offenders to productive citizens. Let’s keep Judge Cabaniss and all of our Republican judges! They follow the law and the U.S. and Texas Constitutions!
Early voting is October 22 through November 2, and Election Day is Tuesday, November 6! Block walk, volunteer to phone bank, and talk to your neighbors. Spread the good news, and encourage them to vote for every single Republican on the ballot. Keep Harris County and Texas RED.
Not tired of winning!
