Holly Hansen is a freelance writer and journalist who has covered Houston and Harris County for The Texan News since 2019.
She is a regular panelist on the FOX 26 “What’s Your Point?” show in Houston and is often heard providing reports and 
commentary with political talk radio hosts Kenny Webster, Chris “X” Blayney, Chad Hasty, and “The Amigos” with Texas Sen. Paul Bettencourt.
A 30-year resident of Texas, Holly is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she earned a degree in History with a focus on medieval Europe, Russia, and the Soviet Union.
Her former column, “All in Perspective,” ran in several Central Texas newspapers, and she has contributed to a variety of Texas digital media outlets. In addition to writing about politics and policy, she also enjoys writing about faith and culture.
