Harris County Republican Party Chairman Paul Simpson will be the guest speaker at the next BARW monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 26th at BAY OAKS COUNTRY CLUB, 14545 Bay Oaks Blvd. Chairman Simpson will be discussing the importance of Getting Out the Vote (GOTV). The Democrats are energized and if Republicans don’t GOTV in November, Republicans will lose control of Congress. If Democrats get their way, they promise to impeach President Trump, raise taxes, and stall the nomination of conservative judges.
Social will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the meeting at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be $19.00, payable at the door. As always, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to have lunch.
Chairman Simpson has been working to elect conservative leaders from an early age. Since he was 13 years old Simpson has helped elect Republicans to almost every office in local, state, and federal government. Growing up in and around New Orleans Simpson served as state chair of the Louisiana Teenage Republicans. In college at Rice University he chair the Young Republicans and worked to recruit and mobilize young people for conservative Republican congressional campaign in Michigan and Iowa.
After graduating Rice with degrees in history and engineering, Paul went to work as an engineer in the oil industry. While working full time, Simpson put himself through law school and graduated with honors from the University of Houston Law Center. Today, is a partner with the law firm of McGinnis, Lochridge and Kilgore.
Simpson and his wife Kathy have been married for 32 years and have two adult children, who both live in Houston and are proud Republicans. In addition to being a husband, father, lawyer, an GOP activist, Paul serves as a lector at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and with many other non-profits in the Houston area.
