The summer is over, and school is headed back in session. Be aware and safe out there.
Our Tuesday, August 26th BARW luncheon meeting will be an exciting one. We have scheduled our SD 11 Senator Mayes Middleton and HD 129 Representative, Dennis Paul. This will be a time to hear from them and their take on the 89th Legislative Session and Special Session. Please get your RSVP’s in by Thursday, August 21st to barw.rsvp@gmail.com.
The time is here! BARW is anxious to get geared up and ready for Tuesday, March 3, 2026 – Primary Election.
In support of this, BARW is hosting our “Golden Age Celebration” Fundraiser to be held on Saturday, October 4th. Some of our confirmed sponsors are: Texas Comptroller Candidate Commissioner Christi Craddick (by video), Texas Comptroller Candidate Don Huffines, Candidate for Attorney General – Mayes Middleton, Candidate for SD 11 Senator – Dennis Paul, Candidate for SD 11 House 129 – Scott Bown, Candidate for SD 11 House 129 – Bob Mitchell.
Our goal is to put you in the room with the primary candidates to have a conversation and determine a better perspective of your voting options. Our Senate and State Representative races are crucial to our area as is the Harris County Judge.
