President’s Voice – March 2021
WE MADE IT THROUGH!!!!
Texas has been through it. We have gotten through an Arctic Freeze, no electricity, no water, busted pipes and not to mention trying to get folks vaccinated. Texans once again have come together to help ONE ANOTHER.
The Texas Legislation is battling for many bills from voter integrity to paying higher wages for our teachers. Keep your eyes on what’s happening at the Texas Legislature. It runs from January 12, 2021 to May 31, 2021. Be informed about how legislators are wanting to govern our state. Remember you have a voice. Let your representatives know where you stand.
Harris County Republican Party Chair, Cindy Siegel, and her team have hit the ground running. The HCRP Lincoln Reagan Dinner has SOLD OUT! Republicans are anxious to hear what former US Congressman Trey Gowdy and Governor Kristi Noem will share at the Lincoln Reagan Dinner. If you cannot be there in person, check to see if $50 virtual tickets are still available.
Please join us for our General Breakfast Meeting on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. Our meeting starts at 8:00 am. Social distancing is observed. We ask that you wear masks when sitting at the tables for the safety of yourself and others. BARW would like to share photos with our membership on our social media. If you are willing to share, please send any digital photos of our events to our Social Media Committee Chairman at willcarter60@gmail.com. We appreciate the men that
support Bay Area Republican Women. Clive Taylor is a real trooper when it comes to keeping information on our website. Will Carter handles our Facebook and zoom meetings. A big welcome to our new Newsletter
Editor, Kimble Steadman, who attends the University of Houston. Last but not least, welcome to all of our new members who have joined us through the pandemic. “Remember, when two people always agree, one of you is not needed. We can choose to disagree without being disagreeable”.
