President’s Voice – May 2025
Hello BARW Community!
The recent CCISD At-Large Position B and Board Trustee District 1 elections are now behind us. I might say, I was a bit disappointed in the voter turnout. When you have a difference of 800 hundred plus votes, that gets you to thinking a bit. Why do so many eligible voters not exercise their right to vote?
Clear Creek ISD 2026 Board of Trustees will hold their next general election on May 2, 2026, for Trustee Positions 2 and 3 that will expire in May 2026.
Meanwhile, our House District 129 Representative, Dennis Paul, has announced his candidacy for the Senate District 11 Senate seat vacated by Senator Mayes Middleton, who recently launched his campaign for Texas Attorney General. So far, Former U.S. Attorney John Bash is the only other candidate who has publicly announced.
Now there could be a slew of candidates throwing their hats into House District 129 for a spot in the state legislature. The need for civility in politics has never been greater. As the candidates emerge in our SD 11 districts, we can hope the political discourse will NOT be characterized by hostility, personal attacks, and a reluctance to find common ground.
The need for fostering unity and ensuring that our candidates focus on what is important for our districts like securing the border, protecting taxpayers, and defending our families. We need representatives whose values are to make Texas the greatest state to live, work and raise a family, while proudly supporting President Trump and the America First agenda.
We will have a very exciting election cycle for 2026 here in SD 11 and I look forward to working to increase voter turnout by restoring confidence and encouraging participation.
Let’s Keep Texas RED!
