I hope you all had a happy and blessed Mother’s Day. As we turn our attention to the primary runoff elections, early voting runs May 18–May 22, and Election Day is May 26. As you discuss the candidates you support, please keep the conversation positive. Negative remarks only give Democrats ammunition for the general election and can discourage people from voting. Republicans need strong turnout, so please be thoughtful in your conversations and on social media.

Memorial Day is approaching—a time to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country free. As you enjoy picnics, barbecues, and other gatherings, please take a moment to pray for these brave service members and their families. Our nation is celebrating 250 years, and freedom comes at a cost. Let’s make sure we remember and honor those who paid that
price.

Please join us on Tuesday, May 26th at Bay Oaks Country Club for our monthly luncheon meeting. Our speaker will be Harris County Commissioner Tom Ramsey. Social begins at 11:00 a.m. and meeting starts promptly at 12:00.
